On October 6, MultiRio new Portainer Super Post Panamax left the Shanghai factory in China, bound for the company terminal in the Port of Rio de Janeiro. The equipment is expected to arrive on November 20.
Upon arrival, a MultiRio will feature five Portainers, in addition to the current three MHCs (Mobile Harbor Crane).
The new equipment was designed to serve the largest ships that frequent the East coast of South America, as well as new generations of vessels. It has a capacity of 65 tons, being able to lift containers 49 meters high and at a horizontal distance of 67 meters.
This is yet another relevant investment by MultiRio to serve its customers with maximum productivity and security.
