Dry Port

Juiz de Fora (MG)

​The Zona da Mata Dry Port was opened in October 1997 and is located in Juiz de Fora, approximately 180 km from Rio de Janeiro and 280 km from Belo Horizonte, 474 km from Vitória and 476 km from São Paulo. The region has road access via highways BR 040, BR 267 and BR 116.

The terminal has 130,383 m² of customs area, including 11,000 m² of covered warehouses, 116,783 m² of yard area for storing vehicles, containers or loose cargo and another 2,600 m² of built area with administrative facilities; offices of the Federal Revenue Service, ANVISA, Ministry of Agriculture, changing rooms, cafeterias, maintenance workshop, room to support dispatchers and carriers, CPD and Multiterminal Administration.

The Dry Port has a 10,000 m² warehouse for general cargo and 02 air-conditioned warehouses with a total area of ​​1,000 m² exclusively intended for the storage of products that require temperature and relative humidity control, a 24 m² refrigerated cold storage chamber (2º to 8º) also provides 16 sockets for connecting refrigerated containers.

The cargo storage yard has a 630-meter railway access with the capacity to move up to 32 containers in each composition maneuver. For the movement of containers and general cargo in the yard, the terminal has 02 "Reach Stacker" type forklifts at its disposal. TEREX brand with a load capacity of 47 tons each, 01 MILAN forklift with 37 tons and completing the fleet of equipment for handling, the terminal also has 01 10-ton forklift, 01 7.0-ton forklift, 02 4.0-ton forklifts and 06 2.5-ton forklifts.

The terminal's security and surveillance system has a closed-circuit TV strategically distributed throughout the terminal area with 24-hour image recording, an alarm system with infrared motion sensor in addition to armed and disarmed security.

To check the weight of transport vehicles (trucks or wagons) both upon arrival and departure, the terminal has a road scale (capacity of 60 tons), in addition to the "EASY GATE" system. for automatic identification and registration of road transport vehicle license plates.

To ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity, the terminal has a diesel-powered generator set at its disposal capable of maintaining an indefinite supply of sufficient electricity for the terminal to operate until the supply is restored by the concessionaire.

In 2013, Porto Seco de Juiz de Fora acquired ISO 9001 certification, guaranteeing the professionalization and standardization of its activities. All of our operational management systems were developed with our own technology, allowing total control over the autonomy of the system. In addition, we work with the SAP system, which is responsible for administrative, tax, financial, human resources and accounting management.

We cover every stage of the supply chain process, from the receipt of imported parts and equipment at the port to the return of the final product for export, going through all stages of support for the production and distribution chain to perform 360-degree Logistics.
