This week Multiterminais held a workshop at the CLIA unit in Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of raising awareness among our employees, importers, exporters, transporters, cargo agents and forwarders of the threats existing in the international logistics chain, as well as initial disposition actions (contingency ), cause analysis and action plan to resolve non-conformities in relation to cargo security and the integrity of the logistics chain. The main risks relevant to cargo security were addressed, such as: terrorism, embezzlement, smuggling, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, cyber-invasion, among others. We also discussed the importance of the Brazilian AEO Program (Authorized Economic Operator) for the security of cargo and the international logistics chain.
This event had the illustrious participation of Mr. Jardel, Federal Police Agent of the Narcotics Repression Police Station (DRE) section K9, Dr. Fernando Fraguas, Customs Auditor of the Federal Revenue of Brazil of the AEO certification team and Dr. Pedro Thiago, Commissioner of the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil at the Customs of the Port of Rio de Janeiro.
